App data
Favorites, alert thresholds, language, appearance and other preferences stay on your device. The app requests park, ride, wait, schedule and weather data from our server. Cloudflare may process technical request data such as an IP address. We use no advertising trackers.
Location
Your location is used on your phone to find nearby parks, estimate distances and routes, and guide you to rides. We do not send coordinates or travel paths to our server. Navigation uses Apple Maps; other maps apps have their own privacy policies.
Optional presence sharing
Only if enabled, your phone checks whether you are near a supported park center and sends the park ID, a daily changing pseudonymous identifier and time, never coordinates. Individual signals are deleted after about 24 hours; aggregate counts without an identifier may remain. Public counts require at least five participants. Turning this off stops sending and the app attempts to erase recent signals.
Background location
This is a separate choice. With Always permission, iOS may wake the app after significant movement. Updates are not continuous and stop when the phone is off. Disable it in the app or iPhone Settings.
Notifications
When available and enabled, we store your Apple push token, followed rides, thresholds, language and update time to send alerts. Disabling alerts requests removal of the registration; inactive registrations are deleted after about 90 days. Apple handles delivery.
Purchases
Silver Pass (30 days) and Gold Pass (1 year) are in-app purchases without automatic renewal. Apple handles payment; NoLane reads StoreKit purchase rights to unlock features. We do not receive card details. Apple shows the final price in your currency before confirmation.
Sources, retention and rights
Park information comes from third parties described in the app. We retain aggregated or park-related history to improve estimates, not your movement history. For privacy rights requests email support@vendrapps.com. This policy will be updated when features or providers change.
